What is 3D Printing?

3D printing, otherwise known as additive manufacturing, is a manufacturing process that builds a part layer by layer. A computer sends instructions to the 3D printer, which deposits or hardens material in a preprogrammed pattern, creating layers in succession.

There are several kinds of 3D printer, some of which are used to print plastic parts, others to print parts made from metal or other materials. While these various 3D printing technologies are diverse, they have certain features in common.

3D printing has revolutionized manufacturing by giving businesses access to a one-step manufacturing technology. 3D printers can be set up in offices and small workspaces, and require minimal training to operate. Moreover, startup costs are incredibly low, since materials are affordable and can be purchased in small quantities.

How to Select 3D Printing Process?

If you need assistance in finding which 3D printing process is the right fit for you, you can set up a consultation and planning phase with our team of additive manufacturing experts.

All 3D CAD files you wish to have printed must be provided for the design and reviewed by the production team so they can be optimized and made to meet design requirements. These requirements will differ between FDM, SLA, SLS, and SLM 3D printing, so be sure to optimize your CAD model for the 3D printing process you wish to use.

Hello,

I came across your company's machining information in Google and was interested in it.

I would like to ask you for the production of two components:

There are tno rollers dhaneter hmny with a kmrled suface n the miode. It is inportant that the kmwrls ot the rolers do not toupn each othar wmhan

the outer tlanks rum against eaclother. The distance between the two knurled surfaces should be about 0.1 mm.

The kmurled surface should not be too fine but not too coarse either. Do you have any examples? One roller has a pin (diametex 7.95m) and an

internal thread i8 (depth 20mn). The other roller has a through hole with a diameter of 8.05mmThe material is stainless steel, it should be suitable

for food.

May I ask you how much it would cost with shipping and when you could deliver it to Switzerland (Europe)?

For now it's just these two pieces, but can you also tell me how much it would cost if I order 2, 5, or 10 of each piece?

Thank your for offer with and without transport if possible.

Best Regards

3D printed both plastic and aluminium (metal) parts, working with Nancy Li who was very professional andkept me updated with progress and quality. Tapped threads were added to some of the 3D printed parts (after printing), which worked out very well. Everything was very well packaged and the overall production time was quite fast. 3D printing of both metal and plastic was quite accurate. 3D printing metal does have some slight warping/deforming issues depending on the shape, but Nancy checked that with me for one of my parts which worked out Ok. Small 3mm holes were a bit smaller than expected, but easily drilled out onceI recieved them - possibly a tolerance issue with 3D printing. Overall extremely happy with the quality and process.Would definitely work with this company aqain.

I need to make some text on the visible side of the frame. What kind of methods of

rendereng/engraving of the text could you suggest?

Hi Sylvia,

We first try to get a good price in the Netherlands.

The best way seems to order the most parts via 247 steel , we are stillooking for a welder !

I let you know later this week.

NB thanks for the other aluminium products; they look great and fit well together !

With best regards.

Hi Mike,

Give your QC my thanks, great catch!

I have updated the drawing to match the 3D CAD.

The parts you made should be good to go.

Best,

Ricky

Hi, Melody

I have received your offer and the price is acceptable after our group discussion.

However, due to our first cooperation, l stll decide to place a sample order in your company first, when we get the sample to confirm thecorrectness,we can consider the bulk order.

One more thing, please give me some pictures of the part during the production process so that l wiluse to add to the product productioninformation, thanks!

Best wishes!
